Beverly Barton

Beverly Marie Inman, die unter ihrem Pseudonym Beverly Barton schrieb, war eine US-amerikanische Schriftstellerin, geboren am 23. Dezember 1946 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Sie war die Tochter von Walter D. Inman Jr. und Doris Marie. Bartons Leidenschaft für romantische Geschichten begann bereits in jungen Jahren, als ihr Großvater ihr eine illustrierte Ausgabe von Die Schöne und das Biest kaufte. Bevor sie lesen und schreiben lernte, erschuf sie bereits in ihrem Kopf magische Worte und Charaktere. Ihre Faszination für Filme führte dazu, dass sie als Kind Drehbücher umgeschrieb Wenn sie noch ein Kind war, gab sie allen eine glückliche Ende.

Barton heiratete Billy Ray Beaver, die Liebe ihres Lebens, und hatte zwei Kinder. Sie stellte ihre schriftstellerischen Ambitionen zunächst zurück, um sich auf ihre Familie zu konzentrieren, kehrte aber in ihren Mitte 30 als Hobby zur Schriftstellerei zurück. Vor ihrem 40. Geburtstag beschloss sie, Schriftstellerin Vollzeit zu werden. Mit Unterstützung ihrer Familie schrieb Barton mehr als 40 Bücher und erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen und Nominierungen, darunter einen Platz in der USA Today Liste und regelmäßige Auftritte auf der Waldenbooks Bestsellerliste.

Barton ist am besten für ihre Protectors-Serie bekannt, sowie für die Griffin Powell-Serie, die Cherokee Pointe-Trilogie, die 3 Babies for 3 Brothers-Trilogie und viele eigenständige Romane. Sie war eine einflussreiche Autorin in Amerika, die sich auf Liebesromane und romantische Spannung spezialisiert hatte. Leider verstarb Beverly Barton im April 2011 aufgrund von Herzversagen.

Obwohl Bartons schriftstellerische Reise Höhen und Tiefen hatte, verfolgte sie ihre Leidenschaft und wurde letztendlich eine New York Times-Bestsellerautorin. Bartons Liebe zum Lesen und Schreiben, die seit ihrer Kindheit gepflegt wurde, führte dazu, dass sie fesselnde Geschichten erschuf, die bei Lesern ankamen.
