Sinéad Moriarty

Sinéad Moriarty ist eine angesehene irische Autorin, die für ihre zeitgenössischen Romane bekannt ist, die die Herausforderungen und Triumphe des Familienlebens erkunden. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Dublin, umgab Moriarty bereits in ihrer Jugend die Welt der Bücher und entwickelte früh eine Leidenschaft für das Geschichtenerzählen. Ihre Mutter, eine Kinderbuchautorin, inspirierte sie dazu, ihren Kindheitstraum vom Schreiben zu verfolgen.

Nach ihrem University-Abschluss lebte Moriarty in Paris und London, bevor sie sich wieder in Dublin niederließ. Mit dreißig Jahren, während sie als Journalistin in London arbeitete, begann sie in ihrer Freizeit kreativ zu schreiben. Nachdem sie einer kreativen Schreibgruppe beigetreten war, verfasste sie „The Baby Trail“, eine bitter-süße Komödie über ein Paar, das sich ein Kind wünscht. Der Roman wurde gut aufgenommen und inzwischen in 20 Sprachen übersetzt.

Moriarty hat insgesamt 14 Romane verfasst, darunter „The Baby Trail Series“ mit vier Büchern. Ihre Romane wurden für ihre fesselnden, menschlichen, bewegenden und relevanten Geschichten gelobt, die modernen Frauen resonieren. Zu ihren beliebtesten Werken gehören „The Way We Were“, „The Good Mother“, „This Child of Mine“ und „Me and My Sisters“. Ihr neuestes Werk, „The Good Mother“, wurde am 17. Februar veröffentlicht.

Neben ihrem Schreiben ist Moriarty verheiratet und Mutter von drei Kindern. Sie lebt derzeit in ihrer Heimatstadt Dublin und genießt den Austausch mit ihren Lesern über ihre Website, Facebook und Twitter.
